Flame

• Flames are made of Plasma, gases that are heated to the point they have lost some of their electrons.

• Flames are magnetic, most flames are repelled by magnetic fields.

•On the international Space station there is no gravity so candle flames won't take a teardrop shape, instead they burn as a sphere shape with blue tinge.

International Space Station

• The international space station is the largest man made object in space.

• There is no up or down in the International Space Station. The so called floor and ceiling are covered in instruments and control panels to save space.

• Every month the ISS orbit decays by 2 KM, it must be topped up by rocket boosts regularly.

• The European module is called Columbus and is used mostly to conduct experiments such as exposure to space tests using air locks and thethers.
