Mandela Effect

The Mandela effect is a non formal term used to describe large groups of people sharing a false memory. For example, in 2013 when Nelson Mandela passed away, thousands of people thought he was already dead, they thought he died in prison.
I have a few Mandela effect examples of my own. I remember mr money bags, the logo for the monopoly game had a monocle on his eye, he never did. On the kit Kat logo, I remember there was a blocky shaped hyphen between the word Kit and Kat but there never was; many other people share this false memory and that is why it is considered a Mandela effect.
