The neo geo MVS arcade cabinet could take six neo geo cartridges. They worked differently to to the home console one and had a different shape but the games were the same code and quality.

Cartridge Based Arcade Machine
If you were wondering if there was an arcade cabinet that took cartridges: now you know.
Instead of buying a new arcade machine, the Neo- Geo MVS could have new games or versions of the games added as cartridges and the Marquee could also be swapped out so it stayed up to date with the new games.
